1. Who is Canadian Heritage Books?
Canadian Heritage Books is the online store for North Shore Publishing, a Burlington, Ontario, Canada based publishing company specializing in local heritage books. Our business office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. *Please note - we are the publishing company and do not have a storefront.

2. I am a first time visitor to your website. How do I place an order?
Thank you for your interest in our website! To place an order for any of our products, you can click on the "Add to Cart" button beside the book you would like to purchase. You will then have the opportunity to change the quantity and continue shopping if you would like.
Pick Up option is available in Burlington. Please click the "Pick Up - Burlington" button to use this option.
You also have the option of e-mailing us your order and we will send you an online invoice which you can pay by credit card upon receipt.

3. I would like to make a purchase from your website. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept payment by Visa and Master Card through the payment gateway PayPal (you don't need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card but we use them as a gateway to process payments. Instructions on obtaining account privileges with PayPal will be outlined on their website, but you can place your order without a PayPal account.) Please read the statement at the bottom of this page about how PayPal will secure your payment with us, as well as an example of how to proceed without using a PayPal account.
We will also accept cheques made payable to: North Shore Publishing. Cheques can be mailed to: 2351 Sinclair Circle, Burlington, Ontario, L7P 3C1. If you would like to pay by cheque, please send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and mailing address and the book you would like to purchase.
4. Can I get a signed copy of a book?
Any of the books by Gary Evans can be signed by the author. To request a signature please email: email@example.com.

For orders within Canada :

Orders are shipped out using Canada Post and occasionally private delivery (Burlington area) to provide the quickest delivery times.

** FOR SHIPPED ORDERS - PLEASE VERIFY YOUR MAILING ADDRESS - IF YOUR PACKAGE IS RETURNED TO US BECAUSE YOU ENTERED YOUR ADDRESS INCORRECTLY, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RETURN CHARGES (EQUAL TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SHIPPING) PLUS THE SHIPPING CHARGES TO MAIL YOUR ORDER TO YOUR CORRECT ADDRESS.

6. I've seen your books in local bookstores, book fairs and book launches at higher prices than listed on your website.
The prices listed on our website are online prices only. Prices at retail outlets and other venues may be different. Since we are the publishing company of these books, we often have different promotions on our website that can only be given to our online customers.
